It’ll be the cat’s meow at the Nebraska Humane Society this Saturday. Cat owners, cat lovers, cat enthusiasts and the just plain cat curious are invited and welcome to stop by NHS on Saturday, July 10 to learn everything from cat agility to cleaning your cat’s litter box at the first-ever Cat Expo.

Fancy felines will be strutting their stuff as Trainer and Agility Competitor Jill Archibald demonstrates cat agility. Cat Behavior Specialist Kitty Dybdall will teach such cat basics as “Litter Boxes 101: The Real Scoop” and “Taming the Tiger Within: Play for Your Cats in Every Stage of Life.”

NHS Veterinarian Dr. Kristin Engel will talk about life stages of the cat and will be hosting an “Ask a Vet” session. Throughout the Expo, Pet Psychic Latisha Barahas will be offering psychic readings.

Visit vendors and exhibitors in between the demonstrations and buy some treats from the Yappy Pack as well as other bake sale items.

The Cat Expo is free and open to the public Saturday, July 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Nebraska Humane Society, 8929 Fort St.
